Y yo pienso votarles!!!!
Guten Tag, hola, hello, how much lower can we go?
Bon soir, mes amis, is this the end?
Ooh lala, the future’s murky, because tonight there stands a turkey
Asking you to vote for me, your feathered friend!.
So give your “douze points” to Ireland, for its lowlands and its highlands
For Wogan’s wig and Bono’s leather pants
We brought you Guinness and Westlife, 800 years of war and strife
But we all apologise for Riverdance
Tonight I represent my nation, I’m no overnight sensation
I’m not a spotty kid from “You’re A Star”
So even thought I cannot sing, vote for me ya real good thing!
I’ve no talent, so I might go really far.
So give your “douze points” to Ireland, for its lowlands and its highlands
For Wogan’s wig and Bono’s leather pants
We brought you Guinness and Westlife, 800 years of war and strife
But we all apologise for Riverdance
Think of Katy Joyce, of Andrea Corr - she’s really nice.
Think of Dana and my hero Johnny Logan
Let’s all drink another beer and sing “What’s Another Year”
And make “Vote for Dustin” everybody’s slogan!
So give your “douze points” to Ireland, for its lowlands and its highlands
For Wogan’s wig and Bono’s leather pants
We brought you Guinness and Westlife, 800 years of war and strife
But we all apologise for Riverdance
So tonight don’t be dismayed if you’ve tuned in to Belgrade
After all, there’s been turkeys here before
But think of dinner; Christmas feast, I’m the act that you can eat
So pick up your phone and give me your top score
So give your “douze points” to Ireland, for its lowlands and its highlands
For Wogan’s wig and Bono’s leather pants
We brought you Guinness and Westlife, 800 years of war and strife
But we all apologise for Riverdance
Come on Georgians and Albanians, Belarussians, Lithuanians,
Czech Republic, and the great Azerbaijan
Bosnians, Herzegovinians, give a twelve to us, the fenians!
‘Cause your families over here say I’m the man!
So give your “douze points” to Ireland, for its lowlands and its highlands
For Wogan’s wig and Bono’s leather pants
We brought you Guinness and Westlife, 800 years of war and strife
But we all apologise for Riverdance
